Create an Intake Case

Manually create a new intake request when a lead comes in outside the automated intake flow.

Who can create intake

Higbee org_admin and org_user roles.

Create a new intake

  1. Open Case Intake from the sidebar.
  2. Click New intake (or navigate to /case-intake/new).
  3. Complete the intake form:
    • Client name and contact information
    • Debt / account details
    • Vendor selection (when applicable)
    • Linked records or referral source fields
  4. Review required fields marked with validation.
  5. Click Submit or Create.

The new intake appears in the queue for claim and conversion.

Form tips

  • Enter accurate phone and email — used for follow-up and case creation.
  • Select the correct vendor early to route the case properly.
  • Use linked record fields when the intake relates to an existing account.

After creation

  1. The intake appears in the Case Intake queue.
  2. You or a colleague can Claim it to take ownership.
  3. When ready, Convert to a full case.
