Finding Cases
The Cases page is your starting point for most work in Raven Portal.
Open the cases list
- Click Cases in the sidebar.
- The page loads a paginated table of cases you are allowed to see.
Your visible cases depend on your role and vendor assignments. See Role Overview.
Search for a case
- Use the search field at the top of the cases list.
- Type a client name, case identifier, phone number, or other searchable field.
- Results update as you type (debounced search).
Tips:
- Use specific identifiers when you have them (case ID, account number).
- Clear the search field to return to the full filtered list.
Filter cases
Expand the Filters section to narrow results:
| Filter type | Use when |
|---|---|
| Status | Active, pending, closed, ineligible, etc. |
| Vendor | Limit to a specific vendor partner |
| Date range | Cases created or modified in a period |
| Labels | Higbee members — filter by case tags/labels |
| Advanced filters | Additional field-based criteria |
- Set your filter criteria.
- The table refreshes automatically.
- Clear individual filters or reset all to start over.

Case labels filters are available to Higbee & Associates vendor members. See Case Labels.
Sort and paginate
- Click column headers to sort where sorting is enabled.
- Use pagination controls at the bottom to move between pages.
- Adjust rows per page if the control is available.
Open a case
- Click any row in the cases table.
- You navigate to Case Detail for that case.

Export from the list
If export actions are available on the list page, use them to download case data for reporting. Case-level export is also available on the detail page.
Cannot find a case?
- Confirm you are searching the correct vendor scope.
- Ask an administrator if you need vendor access added.
- The case may be closed or restricted — check filter settings.
