HATS Tasks

Tasks are workflow items generated by HATS (Higbee Automated Task System) procedures and automations. Access Tasks from the sidebar (Tasks).

Who can access tasks

Higbee org_admin and org_user members.

  • org_admin — Can see all organization tasks
  • org_user — Typically sees assigned and pool tasks

Open tasks

  1. Click Tasks in the sidebar (/hats/tasks).
  2. The task panel shows active, completed, and filtered tasks.

The sidebar badge shows your active task count (red when you have pending work).

Task list features

  • Filter by status, assignee, procedure, or case
  • Search for specific tasks
  • Sort by due date or priority
  • Click a task to open detail or linked case

Work a task

  1. Open the task from the list.
  2. Review instructions and linked case context.
  3. Complete required fields or steps.
  4. Mark complete, advance, or reassign per task type.

Some tasks open modals; others navigate to case detail Tasks tab.

Tasks on a case

  1. Open a case from Cases.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. View and complete tasks scoped to that case.

Task pickup

From case detail Actions, use Task pickup to claim available tasks on a case.
