Multiple assignments

- User Assignments — Functional staff roles on the case (Case Manager, Negotiator, etc.)
- Hearing attorneys — Counsel assigned to a specific hearing date (managed on hearing detail)
See Assign Attorneys to Hearings.
Portal role vs. assignment role
| Concept | Example | Managed where |
|---|---|---|
| Portal role | org_user, vendor_admin | Settings → Users |
| Assignment role | Case Manager, Negotiator | Case → User Assignments |
A user with portal role org_user might be assigned as Negotiator on one case and Case Manager on another.
