Definitions of terms used throughout Raven Portal.

Approvals — Queues for reviewing client enrollments and settlement offers before they proceed.
Attorney User — Portal role (attorney_user) scoped to case assignments; cannot access CTC.
Automation — HATS rule that triggers a procedure when conditions are met.

Case — A client matter record with details, notes, files, hearings, and assignments.
Case Intake — Queue for new leads before conversion to full cases.
Case User — Client-facing portal role (client_user) with access to assigned cases only.
CTC (Consent to Communicate) — Approval workflow before vendor communication on a case.

EAV (Entity-Attribute-Value) — Catalog system for labels, lists, and pick-list values.
H
HACA — Higbee & Associates case system; full cases created from intake conversion.
HATS — Higbee Automated Task System — procedures, tasks, and automations.
Hearing — Scheduled court appearance linked to a case.
O
Offer — Settlement offer record linked to a case.
org_admin — Organization administrator with full Higbee org access including HATS config.
org_user — Higbee organization staff with operational access.

Procedure — Multi-step HATS workflow runnable on cases.

Raven Portal — The Attorney Vendor Portal web application (this product).

Task — Unit of work generated by HATS procedures or automations.

Vendor — Partner organization associated with cases and user access.
vendor_admin — Administrator for a vendor partner's portal users.
vendor_user — Standard vendor staff with case access for their vendor.
