Role Overview

Raven Portal uses vendor access roles to control what each user can see and do. Your role is assigned when an administrator invites you or updates your account.

Portal role types

Roles are scoped to a vendor. Higbee & Associates organization members have access to org-wide features (intake, HATS, approvals, etc.).

Case assignment roles (separate from portal roles)

On each case, staff can be assigned functional roles such as Case Manager, Negotiator, or Appearing Attorney. These control who is responsible for case work but are different from your portal login role.

Multiple vendor accesses

You may have access to more than one vendor. Your effective permissions combine across active vendor accesses. The sidebar shows features available to any of your active roles.

Requesting access changes

Contact your Organization Admin or Vendor Admin to:

  • Add or remove vendor access
  • Change your role type
  • Grant approval or HATS permissions
