Vendor User Guide

Vendor Users (vendor_user) work on cases assigned to their vendor partner. This is the standard role for vendor staff who need case visibility and limited editing.

Your access

As a vendor user you can:

  • View Cases for vendors you are assigned to
  • View Hearings for related cases
  • Use Consent to Communicate (CTC)
  • Add notes and files on cases (when edit permission applies)
  • View case details and export case data

You cannot:

  • Access Settings → Users or admin configuration
  • Access Higbee org features (Intake, Offers, Approvals, Tasks)
  • Assign hearing attorneys or manage case user assignments

Common tasks

Find your cases

  1. Open Cases from the sidebar.
  2. Use search by client name, case ID, or other fields.
  3. Apply filters for status, vendor, or date range.

Review a case

  1. Click a case row to open Case Detail.
  2. Review tabs: Details, Notes, Files, Hearings, Related Cases.
  3. Add notes or upload documents as needed.

Submit a CTC request

When your organization needs consent before communicating with a vendor:

  1. Open Consent to Communicate.
  2. Create a new request with case and vendor details.
  3. Track status until a Higbee reviewer approves or rejects.

Check hearings

  1. Open Hearings for a global list, or the case Hearings tab.
  2. View hearing date, location, and assigned attorneys.

Need more access?

Ask your Vendor Admin to adjust your role or vendor assignments if you cannot see expected cases.
